You Unleashed the Power to Save Lives
Thanks to you, the 2018 Heart & Sole Walk for the Animals was an amazing day. The weather was beautiful and there were dogs and animal lovers everywhere and we absolutely LOVED it. It was a giant success and we could not be more grateful for every single one of you who donated, participated, volunteered, sponsored, shared, talked about and supported the Potter League’s 29th Annual Heart & Sole Walk for the Animals.
Thank you for being a part of Rhode Island’s largest pet walk and a Newport County tradition by walking and raising money to help the Potter League care for more than 2,000 homeless animals each year.
Animal lovers and their dogs enjoyed a one or two-mile walk around beautiful Glen Park, refreshments, music, demonstrations, pet contests, and dozens of vendors & sponsors in Flealess Market and lots of kids activities. There were Halloween costumes, fun contests, an agility course, paw print art, a kissing photo booth, an Potter Pet Alumni Parade, the crowning of the King & Queen, food trucks, and so on, every which way we looked there was a wagging tail and a happy human on the other end of the leash.
Thanks to you, the money raised at the Heart & Sole Walk will help the Potter League provide live-saving medical care, the very best nutrition, enrichment and all the support every animal needs to be placed in a wonderful home. As a local, private non-profit, what we do is possible thanks to the generous support from people in our community.
We hope everyone had a fantastic time, as we know we did. We will be posting a full album along with the kissing booth photos, as well, soon.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for making this year’s Heart & Sole Walk for the Animals the best year yet!
