Christie Smith, executive director of the Potter League, accepts the 2008 Excellence in Business Award in the Non-Profit category from Keith Stokes, executive director of the Newport County Chamber of Commerce. The Excellence in Business Awards, hosted by the Newport County Chamber of Commerce, is designed to celebrate the outstanding achievements of local businesses and recognize the vital role they play in the economic well-being of our community.
