Interested in Becoming a Volunteer?

Want to do good in your community and get a regular furry-friend fix? Become a volunteer at the Potter League for Animals!

To become a volunteer, we ask that you first attend a general information session. These are held in the Education Room here at the Potter League monthly and the dates are posted below. These classes cover information about our mission, programs & services, volunteer opportunities, and the minimum requirement we ask that all volunteers adhere to.

When you volunteer at the Potter League for Animals, you're joining a family of volunteers and staff committed to providing love and support for the homeless pets in our care. As a volunteer, you'll be helping homeless animals receive the loving care and second chances for happiness they deserve.

We ask that all volunteers donate a minimum of 4 hours a month for a minimum of 6 months. There is a one time $20 fee for all new volunteers that covers the cost of administrative processing, name tags and volunteer uniform. College students are exempt from paying the $20 fee.

Upcoming Information Sessions:

Wednesday, August 23rd from 5:30 – 6:30pm
Wednesday, September 27th from 5:30 – 6:30pm
Tuesday, October 3rd from 5:30 – 6:30pm

Information Sessions are DROP-IN. No pre-registration is required. They all take place at the shelter in the Education Room, which is located on the Second Floor.

Here are some of the opportunities that await you!
