Cats just make you smile. June is Adopt a Cat Month and the Potter League along with shelters all around the country are celebrating. This year’s theme is “Give a shelter cat a starring role in your life”. We have several cats who qualify for these award-winning CATegories:
· Purfect Pal for Mature Audiences – Whitey, a handsome twelve year old takes home the award. Lookie is the runner up!
· Best Lifelong Companion – Tuka is a nine week old kitten who will give you a lifetime of love.
· Most Lovable LapWarmer – Sunny loves the world and the world loves Sunny! Sam is the runner up!
· Funniest Comedian – Rockett is a riot, she’ll keep you laughing with her antics.
· Excellence in a Supporting Role – Missy is a petite, quiet calico. She is the perfect compliment to her sister, Lily who takes the leading role. You will need both girls in your life to enjoy this charming act.
· Top Cat – too many cats to name in this CATegory,, you’ll have to come out to meet them in person and decide for yourself.
The Potter League currently has 72 cats in the building and another 25 out in foster care. So you get an amazing selection from young and frisky to mature and mellow. All Potter cats and kittens are spayed or neutered prior to adoption and are up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations. Cat adoptions include a cat safety collar and tag, a carrier and a bag of Science Diet Cat Food.
Cats offer great companionship, don’t need a lot of space so they make perfect pets for apartment dwellers and are just amazing creatures who bring so much enjoyment into people’s lives. Celebrate June by visiting the Potter League and adopting a cat!
