Obedience Training Classes
The Potter League offers free basic obedience instruction to all Potter League dog adopters. This special class for adopters only offers the opportunity to talk to a professional trainer regarding any behavior problems dogs may be exhibiting. Classes are held on a drop-in basis: whether you adopted this week or last year. Potter Adopter classes are held every Saturday and Sunday at the Potter League from 1 to 2 p.m.
For the general public, the Potter League offers an array of group training classes, specialty classes, and play groups that are open to any owner and your canine companion! These include classes for puppies and adult dogs. Check the Obedience Training Schedule on the website for details on all classes.
Specialty Classes … For fun and training we suggest Agility and Doggy-O. These have been very popular classes. Short programs that teach recall, loose leash walking, tricks, and small breed play group are held for one or two classes. Other short programs offer tips to help annoying problems including barking, door dashing or possession of toys.
Classes are held in our new 1700 sq. ft. Indoor Obedience Training Center. There is plenty of room to spread out. Both two-legged and four-legged attendees find the rubberized floor to be very comfortable. For more information on classes, e-mail Jill or call 401 846-8276, ext. 122
