The Potter League has funding available for spaying and neutering only for Newport County residen
ts in financial need. We do not cover the cost of exams, shots, or operations other than sterilization. Please call 846-8276 or e-mail for further information.
The Rhode Island Veterinary Spay/Neuter Assistance Program (SNAP) offers half price spaying or neutering to applicants on public assistance, in a subsidy program or in a household with low income. Go online for an RIVMA SNAP application or call the association at 401 521-7242. The SNAP program only applies to spay and neuter, shots and exams are not covered.
