Animal Care Associate - Part Time

We are currently looking for a part time animal care associate. Duties include, but are not limited to, cleaning dog and cat rooms, feeding shelter animals, walking, bathing and socializing cats and dogs, Applicants should be self-motivated, reliable and must be able to work well with others. This is an entry level, part-time position including weekends and holidays. Applicants must be able to handle animals of all varieties and sizes. Prior experience working in an animal care environment is a plus!

Emphasis is placed on willingness to work quickly and efficiently, a desire to learn and adapt, and an enthusiasm to work with a team dedicated to providing exceptional care for our shelter animals. Employment at the Potter League

Potter League for Animals is a nonprofit animal shelter and education center serving Newport County. We employ a total of 26 full and part-time employees. Employees must be 18 years of age or if 16-17 provide a “Certificate of Age” issued by your School Department.
