Remembering Nuala Pell

We say goodbye to one of our most favorite animal lovers - adopter, donor, and board member Nuala Pell. While she will be forever remembered as a mother of wonderful children, the Senator's wife, Washington hostess, patron of the arts and education, Newport promoter, classy and graceful woman, to us she will always be the person who loved animals. Sometimes it is the furry, four legged creatures that touch our hearts and unite us all. It has been an honor to have this wonderful woman in our lives for so many years. The Potter League is humbled to have been selected by the family to receive donations in Nuala’s name.  She was a passionate animal lover and opened her home and heart to many dogs and cats in her lifetime.  The animals always made Nuala smile, warmed her heart and brought her such joy.  It is our greatest honor to have Nuala’s passion and kindness for animals and people celebrated at the Potter League.
